On September 11, the students and staff at Congers Elementary School dedicated their newly refurbished Memorial Garden. Anthony Mancino, a former Congers Elementary student, completed the refurbishment of the garden as his Eagle Scout project.
The center of the garden features a stone from the site of the attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. A brick path with names of those lost on 9/11 surrounds the garden.
