Clarkstown Central Schools Budget Proposes Increase
The school district proposes a budget-to-budget change of 2.13 percent.

Clarkstown Central Schools District officials will present their 2016-17 budget plan to voters on May 17.
- Proposed Budget Total for 2016-17: $195, 518,048
- Budget to Budget Change: + 2.13 percent
- District-wide tax levy change: 0.12 percent
The spending plan is equal to the allowed New York State Property Tax Cap.
The budget includes the following additions and improvements:

- Two-way radios for buses
- Bus replacements
- Auditorium seat replacement
- Ceiling tile abatement
- Special education contingency added
- Carbon monoxide detectors district wide
Voting will take place between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. May 17 at Street School Community Center, Congers Community Center, Chestnut Grove Administration Center and St. Francis of Assisi Parish Hall. To find out your polling location, call 845-639-6455. For more information on the budget, visit this link.
