Clarkstown PTA Sponsors Presentation on Prescription Drug, Heroin Epidemic
The presentation, co-sponsored by the Clarkstown Teachers Association, will be held Tuesday, June 7 with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

The Clarkstown Teachers Association (CTA) and The Clarkstown Parent Teacher Association (PTA) are sponsoring an event addressing a crucial issue which affects our community.
Please join us on Tuesday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Paramount Country Club, located at 60 Zukor Rd., for “The Perfect Storm: Battling the Prescription Drug and Heroin Epidemic.”

In addition, the Clarkstown Central School District is working on initiatives to help empower our children to make good decision as well as partnering with District Attorney Thomas Zugibe on his joint task force to combat heroin addiction.
We should all be concerned over the growing problem and the increasing number of deaths related to prescription drug and heroin addiction within Rockland County. The statistics are alarming, and it’s imperative that we work together to educate our young people, their families and all in our communities.
