Democrats Stop to Remember Morahan
Late state senator saluted as Andrew Cuomo meets with local supports at RCC rally.
As Democrats rallied today for gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo at Rockland Community College, they took a moment out to remember a Republican – state Sen. Thomas Morahan, who died on Monday at age 78.
Cuomo, New York's attorney general, kicked off a major campaign road trip today with an appearance at RCC. But before any talk of politics, Cuomo helped pay tribute to Morahan.
"We did a lot of good work together," said Cuomo of Morahan. "He will be missed."
