Town of Clarkstown to Hold Annual Supervisor’s Walk

Location: Rockland Lake State Park, North Parking Lot # 2
Join Clarkstown Supervisor Alex Gromack for a hike on the Long Path or take a nice stroll around Rockland Lake. Residents are encouraged to come out and enjoy the outdoors and experience nature first hand. There will be narrated tours and scenic views of the Hudson River. All levels of hiking available.

- 1 hour hike on the Short Long Path overlooking the Hudson River 1.7 miles (moderate hike – short, steep hike)
- 4 hour hike on the Long Path approximately 6 miles (difficult hike – long hike over steep, rocky terrain) bring water and lunch
- 1 hour hike around Rockland Lake 3.2 miles (easy hike – paved walk, good for strollers)
T-shirts, water and fruit available before the hike begins.
The Supervisor’s Walk is associated with the Hudson River Valley Ramble; a month of landscape walks, hiking, kayaking, and biking adventures throughout the Hudson Valley.
