The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council is holding a Rockland County Open House in the fourth floor Community Room of the Palisades Center. The four-hour session is designed to gather ideas from the people who live and work in the county about what transportation projects and programs they’d like to see put in place for an update of the Regional Plan between 2015 and 2040, and beyond.
Presentations will be offered at 4:15 and 6:30 pm. Public input is sought on topics ranging from traffic congestion to transit to biking to moving goods – both within Rockland and for the region as a whole. Rockland County staff members will be on hand to assist NYMTC staff.
