Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said Wilder Menendez Perez, 22, of Spring Valley plead guilty to second degree assault for physically abusing a two year child and was sentenced on Tuesday to four years in state prison and two years post release.
Zugibe stated between November 23 and November 24, 2012, Perez physically abused the toddler who had bites and bruises on her body and was strangled. She also had high blood alcohol content which was discovered when she was taken to the hospital.
