Frat Brothers Honor RCC President for Achievements

Wood wins award from Delta Tau Delta.

Rockland Community College President Cliff L. Wood has been honored by his longtime fraternity brothers for his achievements as an educator.

Wood, a 1966 grad of Texas A&M-Commerce, joined the Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity as an undergraduate in 1963. At the frat's recent conventiopn in Washington, D.C., he was one of the members cited during tby the Alumni Achievement Awards.

Delta Tau Delta has 125 chapters and colonies across the United States with a membership of more than 7,300 undergraduates and 150,000 alumni members.

Wood has spent more than 30 years working in education at community colleges. Wood has served as president of RCC since 2004 and previously was V.P. of Academic Affairs at County College of Morris in Randolph, N.J., where he worked for 18 years.
