Funeral arrangements for state Sen. Thomas Morahan, who died Monday at age 78, have set. Calling hours for Sen. Morahan will start on Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m., and then take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 S. Main St., New City. A funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine's Church on Main Street in New City, followed by burial at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet. Flags at government buildings in Rockland are being flown at half staff in honor of Sen. Morahan.
