Hospital Names Director of Special Events
Valley Cottage resident to oversee development of new funding and sponsorship opportunities.

Mary Fiore of Valley Cottage has been named Director of Special Events for Nyack Hospital.
Fiore will be responsible for the ongoing calendar of special events which raise funds for Nyack Hospital, as well as for the development of new funding and sponsorship opportunities.
Fiore brings to her position a strong background in fundraising and event planning, after having served as principal of her own firm for over 10 years. Fiore specializes in all areas of event-related fundraising and has produced events such as galas for 800, as well as serving on a team that produced conferences for nearly 2,000 attendees.

Prior to heading her own firm, Fiore honed her skills in event logistics and protocol as the Director of Development at the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, the charitable endeavor of The Princely Family of Monaco. Fiore holds dual Bachelors of Arts in History and Art History from Syracuse University. She sits on the board of the Lower Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, as well as the Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
She lives in Valley Cottage with her husband and three children.

Nyack Hospital is a 375-bed community acute care medical and surgical hospital that was founded in 1895 and is a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System.
