Jawonio Advocacy Group, part of New City-based Jawonio, received the award for Outstanding Self-Advocacy Group Tuesday at the Stony Point Conference Center, accroding to Jawonio Jawonio's Stephen Barlaam won an individual award for Best Advisor. The Awards were presented by the Self Advocacy Association of New York State-Hudson Valley Region-Southern Tier. Nominations were submitted by Jawonio  employment counselor Kelly Kovalsky. The advocacy group includes: Hector Alamo, Joseph Borno, Stacy Goodall, Angela Neal, Steven Rivera, Joseph Treutle, with Jawonio staffers  Carol King, program director, Patricia Power, supervisor-Day Hab, Stephen Barlaam, Day Hab instructor, Scott Salmon-Advocacy Coach, Yveline Moise-Direct Service Professional ,Lineda Dauphin-Direct Service Professional and Stanley Nemorian-Direct Service Professional.
