Kings Highway Closed In Valley Cottage Today
Kings Highway will be closed at the railroad crossing in Valley Cottage from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. odday for upgrade work.
Kings Highway in Valley Cottage will be closed at the CSX railroad crossing from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on today. CSX will be performing an upgrade of the rail road crossing.
Kings Highway will be closed in both directions, at the railroad crossing. Detour signs will be posted for alternate routes including Gilchrest Road and Lake Road.

Drivers are asked to plan alternate routes of travel for the day. The work will take place Thursday weather permitting.
Similar work was done on the Lake Road railroad crossing in Congers in January.
