Library Honors Officials for Their Support
Recent project improved access to Valley Cottage Library on Route 303.

The Valley Cottage Library has said "Thanks" to local officials for their support in a project that made it easier for library patrons to get to the facility on Route 303 in Valley Cottage.
The Board of Trustees of the Valley Cottage Library recognized Clarkstown town Supervisor Alex Gromack, state Sen. Tom Morahan and Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski at their biennial awards ceremony on Friday.
All three received the Anne Coren Memorial Award for their support and assistance in the library's goal of making the parking lot ingress/egress safer for residents. The state DOT completed construction earlier this year along Route 303 that improved the busy area around the library, just before the intersection of Route 303 and Lake Road.
