Monsey Boil Water Order Lifted

Boil water order issued last week has been lifted by the Rockland County Department of Health.

 

United Water received official notification from the Rockland County Health Department on Monday that the boil water order can be lifted for customers in Monsey. The boil water order was issued as a result of a main break which occurred last Tuesday on Saddle River Road.

Customers were ordered to boil water as a precautionary measure while United Water emergency crews restored water service and water quality tests were performed. Lab results indicate that the water now meets all safe drinking water standards.
