New City Man Accused of DWI

Car stopped on Route 304 in Clarkstown.

A New City man is accused of drunken driving after being stopped on Route 304 in Clarkstown early-morning Saturday, according to State Police.

Police said Michael J. Mayo, 21, of New City, was arrested about 3 a.m. after being stopped on the northbound side of Route 304. Mayo is accused of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Mayo was released pending a Town Court hearing in New City.
