The Clarkstown Town Board has approved a town resident's request for a new street light. After making sure the new light would be OK with neighbors, the town has agreed to the installation of a new, 70 watt sodium vapor light in front of 50 Dykes Park Road in Nanuet on an existing utility pole. The light is to be installed by Orange and Rockland Utilities. The town pays $8.74 per month for the fixture, plus market supply charges and fuel adjustment charges.
