No Charges Filed In Monday's Stabbing At Palisades Center

Police report taxi driver stabbed two men after argument.

 

Clarkstown Police report no charges are being filed in connection with Monday morning's stabbing of two men. Police say the stabbing resulted from a dispute between a taxi driver and three passengers at 1:40 a.m. near the Palisades Center bus stop. The argument began when the taxi driver identified as Ondre Wisdom, 34, of Stony Point, insisted on payment upfront.  

All four people involved got out of the taxi and police report Ondre used a pocketknife to stab Gilberto Ramos, 22, of Nanuet and Jaieem Webb, 22, of Spring Valley. Ramos and Webb were injured and taken to the hospital. The injuries were non-life threatening. Wisdom was not injured. There is no report of any injury to the third passenger, Corey Major, 36, from Spring Valley.

Police report no charges are being filed following their investigation and consultation with the Rockland County District Attorney’s office. None of the men involved want to file charges.
