Nyack police and firefighters were called for a river rescue Tuesday night along the Hudson River, and when they got there it turned out it was a truck that needed rescuing. A Toyota pick up loaded with a jet ski got stuck in the river at the stone-paved boat ramp at the Nyack marina, adjacent to the River Club at the foot of Burd Street in Nyack at about 7:30 p.m. A heavy-duty tow truck was called to get the truck out of the river. No one was injured.
