Pa. Man Accused Of DWI At Mall

Erratic driving leads to felony charges, police say.

A Pennsylvania man is accused of a felony drunken driving charge after he was seen driving erratically at Palisades Center mall in West Nyack, Clarkstown police said today.

Police said William Young, 37, of Throop, Pa., was spotted by a town police officer about 1:10 p.m. Wednesday while exiting the mall onto Route 59. Young failed a  sobriety test and was arrested, police said.

Young, according to police, refused to take a chemical breath test for alcohol at police headquarters. Police said they also discovered Young did not have a driver's license because it had been revoked due of a prior drunken driving conviction.
