He organized a roundtable discussion on the COVID-19 pandemic situation with a robust panel of healthcare professionals from within the community which was attended by over 75 families.
Legislator Paul said the County Legislature’s ceremony comes as local residents prepare to mark India’s independence from Britain in 1947 by participating in the annual India Day Parade. It kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, in New City. Please assemble in the New City Library parking lot at 10:30 a.m. for the start of the procession. Festivities will take place at the County Courthouse. The sponsor is the India Cultural Society of Rockland in association with Jeevan Jyoti, FOKANA, Rockland Indio-American Lions Club and others.
