Clarkstown Police arrested three young adults on Tuesday at 3 a.m. for committing criminal mischief. Eight vehicles in New City and three in Nanuet had damage including broken tail lights, windshields, windows and side view mirrors. A resident of New City Condominiums on Heritage Drive called police after hearing the sound of glass breaking and witnessed several males in the area. Eight vehicles were damaged in the parking lot. According to police, they arrested three young males and after an investigation identified at least three more damaged vehicles in the Hamlets complex in Nanuet.  The suspects are all younger than 18 years old and live in New City, Central Nyack and Suffern. They were charged with eight counts of criminal mischief fourth degree, a misdemeanor; three counts of criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony, and one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.  All three were issued appearance tickets returnable on Monday, October 1 in Clarkstown Justice Court.
