Fundraising event at Spook Rock supports RCC scholarships, special projects.

The Rockland Community College Foundation has its 27th Annual Golf Outing Benefit on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the Town of Ramapo Spook Rock Golf Course.
A $199 per golfer donation to the foundation includes 18 holes of golf, golf carts, hot lunch provided by Chalet at Spook Rock, cocktail reception, and a steak and lobster dinner provided by DeCicco's MarketPlace. The daylong event also includes an auction, raffles, a sports memorabilia silent auction and many prizes. The donation for a foursome plus a hole sponsorship is $900.
Funds raised by the foundation go toward RCC student scholarships and other projects to benefit students. Last year, the foundation gave out more than $200,000 in scholarships and other support to students and since its inception in 1982, the foundation has raised more than $2 million.
