RCC Nursing Professor Joins United Hospice Board
Lisa Schachter of Airmont is a licensed RN and Family Nurse Practitioner.

United Hospice of Rockland Executive Director Amy Stern said Friday that Rockland Community College nursing professor Lisa Schachter MSN, RN, FNP, has joined the board of directors of the New City-based organization.
A resident of Airmont, Schachter is full-time member of the faculty in the Department of Nursing at RCC. She is a licensed RN, Family Nurse Practitioner, American Heart Association BLS Instructor, and is IV Certified.
"Lisa brings a wealth of community, health care and professional experience to our Board of Directors," Stern said.
Schachter's professional affiliations include: Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, New York State Nurses Association: District # 17, National League of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Network of Rockland County, African American Historical Society of Rockland County, and United Hospice of Rockland.
