Rockland County is recognizing National Certified Nursing Assistant Week through until Thursday, June 17.
"We thank all of the Certified Nursing Assistants in our hospitals and healthcare facilities who care for patients," said Rockland County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef. "Not just now, but throughout the year. It takes a special person
to take on such a responsibility."
In honor of National Certified Nursing Assistant Week, Rockland County's Summit Park Hospital and Nursing Care Center in Pomona will hold a "Shining Star"
Recognition Awards Reception and Ceremony on Wednesday, June 16th for
all Certified Nursing Assistants, as well as other events throughout the
week, to show their thanks and apappreciation for their dedicated service.
