28-Year-Old Charged in $3,100 Theft
Newburgh woman arrested in shoplifting incident at Lord & Taylor at Palisades Center in West Nyack; police seek man connected with incident.

Clarkstown Police report the arrest of Dawn Roll of Newburgh on Tuesday afternoon on charges of shoplifting from Lord & Taylor at Palisades Center mall in West Nyack.
Store security reported they saw the 28-year-old and an unidentified man removing clothing from display racks and placing the items worth $3,181.50 into bags carried by Roll.
Roll and her companion reportedly left the store without paying for the merchandise and were stopped in the parking lot by store security but the unidentified male fled the scene. He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing about 250 pounds and in his early to mid forties.

Roll was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court and sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. She is due in court on October 29 on charges of third-degree grand and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
