Community Leaders joined the effort to raise hunger awareness and to aid in filling the shelves of local food pantries and charities.

From Inserra Supermarkets:
NEW CITY, N.Y. – In its continuing effort to give back to the community and raise awareness of food insecurity, Inserra Supermarkets hosted “Help Bag Hunger” events in each of its 22 stores, including ShopRite of New City. During the fundraiser, community leaders volunteered to bag groceries for customers as ShopRite of New City associates collected monetary donations. All proceeds are earmarked to aid in filling the shelves of food banks and charities.
