
Six people have been arrested on shoplifting charges at stores in Nanuet and West Nyack in four separate incidents, according to Clarkstown police.
Three people were arrested in connection with the theft of $425 worth of merchandise from the Marshals store in Nanuet at about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Charged with petty larceny were: Rochelle Allen, 29, of Spring Valley; Sheri Drummond, 21, of Elmsford; and, Quinese White, 29, of the Bronx, according to police. All three were released pending a hearing on Sept. 20 in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.

Also on Thursday, police said Roman Rodionou, 22, of Congers, was charged with petty larceny at about 5:20 p.m. in connection with the theft of $40 worth of merchandise at the JC Penny department store at Palisades Center mall in West Nyack. He was released pending a Town Court hearing on Aug. 30.
On Saturday, police said Enrique Vargas, 54, of West Haverstraw was charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of $155 worth of merchandise at the Lord and Taylor store at Palisades Center at about 3:30 p.m. Vargas was released pending a Town Court hearing on Sept. 1.

Also on Saturday, police said Peter Villavecchia, 22, of River Vale, N.J., was accused of petty larceny in connection with the theft of $70 worth of merchandise at Macy's at the Nanuet Mall at about 9:15 p.m. He was released pending a Town Court hearing on Aug. 30.
