Sloatsburg Resident Becomes Eagle Scout
Suffern High School senior Garrett Nicholson's project was a paved walkway at The Valley of Heroes at the Sloatsburg Community Fields.
From Rockland County: Rockland County Executive Ed Day congratulated Suffern High School senior Garrett Nicholson of Troop 2146 on becoming an Eagle Scout at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor. His community service project included the construction of a paved walkway at The Valley of Heroes at the Sloatsburg Community Fields. The “Heroes Walk” leads to two monuments honoring World War II veterans. “Thank you to Garrett for beautifying this area that draws more attention to the monuments dedicated to our heroes,” said County Executive Day. “I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
