State Police: 2 Arrested on Drug-Related Charges

New City woman stopped on Palisades Parkway, N.J. man stopped on Thruway.

A New City woman and a New Jersey man have been arrested on state highways in Clarkstown for drug-related charges in separate incidents, according to State Police.

Kristina Didonato, 24, of New City is accused of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument after she was stopped at 9:35 p.m. Friday while traveling southbound on the Palisades Interstate Parkway at the Exit 8 interchange, police said.

She was released pending a hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.

At 12:20 a.m. today, State Police said Dylan N. Davenport, 41, of Bloomfield, N.J. was stopped on the New York State Thruway northbound at the northbound ramp to the Palisades Interstate Parkway. Davenport was arrested on a charge of first-degree driving while impaired by drugs, police said.

Davenport was released pending a hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
