Stony Point Police: Peekskill Man Drove Drunk With Headlights Off
The 25-year-old has a previous DWI conviction, police said.
STONY POINT, NY — Peekskill resident Christoper Guinansaca, 25, faces charges stemming from a police stop on South Liberty Drive Tuesday.
Stony Point police said an officer saw someone driving a car without the headlights on at 2:01 a.m.
After a brief investigation, Guinansaca was placed under arrest. He is due back in Stony Point Justice Court Aug. 17 to answer charges of driving while intoxicated, a felony because he has a previous conviction for DWI; refusal to take a breath test; driving a vehicle without an interlock device; and circumventing an interlock device.
