T.E.E.N. Works Program Applications Available
Applications for Youth Bureau employment program can be submitted until Dec. 19
The Rockland County Youth Bureau announced applications are available for its T.E.E.N. Works (Teen Employment Education Network) program. The Youth Bureau must receive applications by Dec. 19. The county funds the workforce preparation and placement program.
This 15-week program provides youths between 14 and 21 years old experience in the workforce. The program, which has eligibility guidelines, offers training, experiential activities and a paid job placement when successfully completed. The goal of T.E.E.N. Works is to train young adults to become successful, contributing members of the workforce with strong goals for their future.

Participants will receive four stipends of $125 each for a total of $500. There may be possible job placement at the end of the 15-week program, which runs from January 28, 2013 until May 30, 2013.
Applications for T.E.E.N. Works are currently available and can be mailed, e-mailed or picked up from the Youth Bureau. The program was launched earlier this year.
