A 17-year-old New Jersey girl is accused of shoplifting $385 worth of merchandise from a store at Palisades Center mall in West Nyack, according to Clarkstown police.
Police said the girl, a resident of Hawthorne, NJ, was arrested at the Macy's department store at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday and was charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of items of clothing.
The girl, who was not identified by police because of her age, was released pending a Sept. 20 hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
