Two Men Get Prison Terms on Drug Charges

Sentenced in Rockland County Court in New City.

Two Rockland men were sentenced to state prison terms Wednesday in Rockland County Court in  New City on drug charges.

Darryl Nottingham, 45, of West Haverstraw, was sentenced state Supreme Court Justice William A. Kelly to a prison term of two years with two years post-release supervision after pleading guilty to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. 

District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said that on from November 2008 and Jan. 29, 2009, Nottingham sold another individual cocaine inside Westbrook's Bar in the Village of Haverstraw for $60 and sold another individual cocaine on Railroad Avenue in the Village of West Haverstraw for $100.

Emmanuel Janvier, 29, of 4 Fletcher Road, Monsey, was sentenced by Kelly to a prison term of eight years and five years post-release supervision after pleading guilty to criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. 

Zugibe stated that in December 2009, Janvier sold other individuals cocaine for $100 on three occasions in the Town of Ramapo.
