Winning Ways: Volunteer Units Awarded Trophies at Fire Parade
50 fire trucks were judged as part of the parade in Thiells.
Organizers of the 98th annual Rockland County Volunteer Firemen's Association Parade in Thiells on Saturday awarded trophies to the best units that took part in the parade, which was hosted by the David B. Roche Volunteer Fire Company of Thiells as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
There were 50 pieces of firefighting equipment judged as part of the parade, according to Kenneth Gordon, who served ast the head judge.
