A 37-year-old Orange County woman is accused of stealing $1,200 worth of merchandise from Macy's at Palisades Center mall, Clarkstown police said Monday.
Nai Lam of Monroe was arrested 4:20 p.m. Saturday after security personnel at Macy's saw her try to leave the store with a bag filled with 37 pieces of children's clothing, seven ties and a handbag that had not been paid for, police said.
Lam is accused of felony charges including grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, police said. Lam was released by police with a ticket requiring her to appear in Clarkstown Town Court in New City on June 30.
