Woman Admits Illegally Taking $11,000 in Federal Housing Aid
She lied on Section 8 housing forms.

A Rockland County woman has pleaded guilty to accepting more than $11,000 in federal housing assistance that she wasn't entitled to, according to District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe.
Lori Tuck, 41, previously of 59 Beach Road, Stony Point, has pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny. Zugibe said that between May 1 and Dec. 1, 2009, Tuck received assistance from the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development, Section 8 totaling more than $11,000.00. He said Tuck's Section 8 re-certification forms contained false statements and information and as a result Tuck received funds which she was not entitled to.
Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 6, before Rockland County Court Judge Charles Apotheker in New City.
