Woman Indicted on Charges of Using Stolen Credit Card to Buy Furniture
Nanuet resident accused of grand larceny, identity theft.

A Nanuet woman has been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury in New City on charges she used a stolen credit card to buy nearly $2,000 worth of furniture and accessories from a Nanuet store.
District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said Robin Group, 49, of 13 Wyndham Court, Nanuet, is accused of making the purchase at Jenifer Leather in December 2009 and arranging to have the store deliver her order to her home. Zugibe said the owner of the credit card discovered the illicit $1,950.72 charge on her account later in December.
Group was arrested on March 18 and the items charged at the store were recovered from her home, Zugibe said. The indictment accuses Group of five counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree identity theft.
