Work On Palisades Parkway To Close Lanes: DOT
Road crews will be working on guide rails, weather permitting.

ORANGETOWN, NY — Single lane closures are expected in Rockland County beginning Tuesday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Rockland County motorists should expect single lane closures in both directions of the Palisades Interstate Parkway from the New Jersey State line in the town of Orangetown to the Orange County line in the town of Stony Point.
The closures will be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursdays, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 8 through Thursday, Nov. 17.

Officials said the reason for the lane closures is to facilitate guide rail work, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
