Zebrowski Set To Kick Off Campaign
Assemblyman from New CIty seeking re-election.

Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski is set to launch his campaign for re-election to the state Assembly Thursday with an event at the Rockland County Courthouse.
Zebrowski, D-New City, says he'll describe his agenda for the next two years at the 5:30 p.m. event. In May, Zebrowski revealed he would seek re-election rather than run for the state Senate, where Sen. Thomas Morahan, R-New City, has decided not to seek relection because of illness.
Zebrowski, a lawyer, is the son of the late Kenneth Zebrowski, who was also a New City attorney and was chairman of the Rockland County Legilsature. Morahan defeated the elder Zebrowski to take the Senate seat that represents all of Rockland and part of Orange County. However, Morahan is a close friend of the Zebrowski family and supported them during the illness that claimed the life of the elder Zebrowski.

In the race for Senate, Zebrowski has backed Clarkstown Town Clerk David Carlucci, D-New City, who last week won the Democratic Party's nomination to run for state Senate. Rockland County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef has been nominated by Republicans for Morahan's seat.
Zebrwoski's 94th Assembly District represents Clarkstown, Haverstraw and a portion of Ramapo including the villages of Pomona, Wesley Hills and most of New Hempstead. He is facing a challenge from Valley Cottage businessman Frank Sparaco, a Republican, who is also a member of the Rockland County Legislature.
