2 Killed In Long Island Crash
Two women were ejected from a car and pronounced dead at the scene, police say. Another person is in critical condition.
NORTH NEW HYDE PARK, NY — Two people were killed and another was critically injured in a single-car crash in Nassau County Sunday morning, police said.
According to police, a 41-year-old man was driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla on Marcus Avenue near Union Turnpike in North New Hyde Park when the car crash and overturned against a pole at 6:50 a.m.
Two female passengers, ages 39 and 71, were ejected from the car and suffered serious trauma. They were both pronounced dead at the scene by an ambulance medic.

The driver was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
Police have not yet released the names of those involved. The investigation is ongoing.
