2 Seriously Injured In New Hyde Park Crash: Police

Two people remain in critical condition following a crash in New Hyde Park Tuesday night, police say.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A driver and his passenger were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in New Hyde Park Tuesday night, authorities said.

Nassau County police responded to 2317 New Hyde Park Rd. for the report of a collision around 7:07 p.m.

According to authorities, a 25-year-old man driving a 2018 Range Rover and a 32-year-old man operating a 2015 Subaru collided. As a result, the Subaru driver and his passenger, only identified as a 32-year-old woman, suffered severe injuries and were rushed to a local hospital, where they both remain in critical condition.

The driver of the Range Rover only suffered minor injuries, according to police, but was taken to a hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway.
