Man Charged With Selling Fireworks Illegally At Hicksville Store: Cops
Nassau police arrested a New Hyde Park man Thursday after finding "open bins of fireworks" for sale at Maharaja Farmers Market.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A New Hyde Park man has been charged with illegally selling fireworks in Hicksville, the Nassau County Police Department reported Thursday.
Senthil Lakshamanan was arrested around 1 p.m. on Thursday after police found "several open bins of fireworks for sale" at Maharaja Farmers Market, located at 265 South Broadway in Hicksville.
He is charged with the unlawful selling of fireworks, and the unlawful storage of explosives.

The Nassau County Arson and Bomb Squad removed all the fireworks, the department said.
