Mariah Carey 'Devastated' To Cancel Holiday Show At UBS Arena
The superstar canceled the Sunday night concert, her third missed this week, because of the flu.
ELMONT, NY — Mariah Carey fans got some news on Friday. The diva canceled her holiday show at UBS Arena on Sunday due to the flu.
Carey posted on X: "Newark and Belmont - I wish I had better news but unfortunately I’m still sick and have to cancel the shows tonight and on Sunday. I’m really devastated about it and appreciate your support. Love, MC"
Ticketmaster stated on its website that a refund should be issued within three weeks.

Her Friday night show at the Prudential Arena in Newark was also scrubbed. She previously canceled a concert in Pittsburgh for Wednesday night.
Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You" has become the best-selling Christmas all-time in the U.S. The song, a holiday standard since its release 30 years ago, returns to the Billboard Hot 100 for a collective 15th week at number 1 on the chart.
