Nassau Police: 4 Queens Men Tried To Break Into No. New Hyde Park Home

According to the Nassau County Police Department, officers watched four men break into a sliding glass door on South Street and then flee.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY—Four men from Queens were arrested Monday for breaking into a North New Hyde Park home, police say.

According to the Nassau County Police Department, officers who were in the neighborhood investigating recent burglaries saw the men break the glass of a rear door at a South Street house around 1 p.m.

Police say Daniel Esteban Jimenez–Carrillo, 30, Gleason Johan Hernandez–Gomez, 33, and Justin Mora-Soto, 20, left after hearing a woman inside the home scream. Two of the men then got into a car driven by Brayan Alexis Ortiz-Ramos, 20. Police followed and arrested the four, all residents of Ozone Park and College Point.

The men are charged with attempted burglary and conspiracy in the 4th degree and are due for arraignment on Wednesday.
