New Hyde Park Students Spread Holiday Cheer for US Soldiers
New Hyde Park Memorial students write to active service members for 2013 holidays.
The New Hyde Park Memorial High School Key Club recently joined forces with students in the Life Skills classes, under the direction of teachers Lisa Bocchino, Michele Kenahan, and Sue Martello to bring holiday cheer to our soldiers.
Each year, through their Holiday Mail for Heroes program, the Red Cross delivers Holiday greetings to veterans, military families, and active-duty service members at hospitals and installations around the world.
TheNew Hyde Park Memorial High School students made holiday cards to be given to these dedicated service members.
