Students Create Wax Museum at New Hyde Park
Students conducted research and wrote research papers on some of history's famous first people.

New Hyde Park Memorial seventh-graders in Gina Rodriguez’s class participated in the third annual Wax Museum, held in the school’s library on Feb. 25-26.
Participating students conducted research and wrote research papers on some of history’s famous first people, people known for being the first to accomplish a great feat. As part of the museum, the students also created documentaries and presented them in the library dressed as their famous people.
According to Rodriguez, many students and staff members visited the Wax Museum and thoroughly enjoyed the documentaries and presentations. She also expressed her gratitude to Librarian Nilli Resnick and Library Media Specialist Anne Brusca for their support throughout the event.
