2 Arrested In Nassau For Damaging "We Stand With Israel" Sign: PD
A 14-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl were taken into custody on Monday afternoon, police said.

SEARINGTOWN, NY — Two people were arrested on Monday afternoon for damaging a "We Stand with Israel" in Searingtown.
Rabiah Rafiq, 18, of Albertson; drove a 14-year-old boy to the Shelter Rock Jewish Center, police said.
They fled in a gray Porsche.

A subsequent investigation led to them being placed under arrest without incident, police said. Rafiq is charged with fourth-degree criminal facilitation and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
She was expected to be arraigned on Tuesday. The boy is charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief as an e-felony/bias crime, police said. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable on Oct. 28.
