Van Set On Fire Saturday In North Valley Stream: Nassau Police

The 2006 gray Ford Econonline E250 ​was parked in a driveway, detectives said.

NORTH VALLEY STREAM, NY — Someone poured flammable liquid on a van at a Franklin Avenue home, set it ablaze and then ran away at 3:50 a.m. Saturday, Nassau police said.

According to detectives, the 2006 gray Ford Econonline E250 was parked in a driveway.

The Valley Stream Fire Department responded, as did the Nassau County fire marshal and the Arson Bomb Squad. There were no injuries — and there was no substantial damage to the vehicle, police said.
