3-Week ​Lane & Ramp Closures On Cross County & Hutchinson River Pkwys

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Three weeks of overnight lane and ramp closures along two of the busiest parkways in Westchester are planned, starting Sunday night.

The New York State Department of Transportation says that lane and ramp closures along the Cross County Parkway and the Hutchinson River Parkway are scheduled to take place nightly, on Sunday nights through Friday nights, between Sunday, October 29 and Tuesday, November 21.

The construction work is expected to take place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Closures are scheduled for the following locations:

  • Two lanes of the Cross County Parkway in each direction between Exit 8 (State Route 22) and the Hutchinson River Parkway.
  • One lane of the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound between Exit 12 (Mamaroneck Road) and Exit 14 (North Street).
  • The Hutchinson River Parkway northbound ramps to/from Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) and Exit 14 (North Street).

Drivers should anticipate delays and follow the posted detours.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
