'Co-Working' Trend Offers Shared Office Space Experience
CoWork Westchester President Steve Rosenthal describes co-working as an environment in which ideas are hatched and connections are made.
From CoWork Westchester:
There’s exciting news for entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers and others in Westchester looking to escape the home office in favor of a more collaborative work environment. Co-working has just taken a quantum leap in Westchester. What is co-working?
Steve Rosenthal, president of CoWork Westchester says, “Co-working is a new trend that’s already swept through the major cities of the United States. Coworking is part social and part office space, an environment where ideas can be
hatched, connections can be made, projects can take flight, and community can be developed.”

As Mr. Rosenthal says, the co-working trend is sweeping the country. Already, there are hundreds of co-working facilities in major cities, including WeWork and The Productive in New York City. Mr. Rosenthal, a Westchester native, is also the Executive Director for Cross-Cultural Solutions, a non-profit enterprise he founded to enable volunteering and cultural exchange in the developing world.
“Cross-Cultural Solutions exists to bring people together, and CoWork Westchester does the same. We’ve got a fabulous, open, ad-agency-type space, just a short walk from the train in New Rochelle, and we are excited to share it with our friends and neighbors in Westchester County,” said Rosenthal.

CoWork Westchester is located at 2 Clinton Pl. in downtown New Rochelle. With contemporary design, funky meeting rooms, and varied workspaces, it offers all the support of a traditional office environment. The building is widely known as having some of the finest office space in Westchester. Tom Popper, president of insightCuba, a travel company based in the same space, agrees.
“The location is ideal, the space is inspiring, and my staff enjoys a collaborative relationship with the people of Cross-Cultural Solutions. It will be wonderful as others both draw-from and contribute to the energy that already exists,” said Popper.
The grand opening of the 11,000 sq. ft. space is scheduled for June 1, but they are open for business now at half-price as a pre-launch promotion. Further information is available through the CoWork Westchester website or through contacting Damien Bamberg via (914) 632-0022.
